Long days

So today I woke up earlier than usual, Jade wanted to go to the beach today because the weather has been very nice recently. I must of got around 6 hours sleep that night. So I got out at around 8am had a shower and stuff got ready.
I left the house and proceeded to her friends Steph's house, because she had stayed there the previous night. I got there for exactly 9am, I thought that was pretty good myself, I thought I was going to be late. When I got there the girls were ready, Jade says to me "A change of plan we decided to go Bristol Zoo instead." I wasn't expect that one! Nevermind, I have my TomTom so its ok. So we all set off to Bristol Zoo.
When we got there, I took my camera, which I had in the boot of my car luckily, figured it would be a good opportunity to get some pictures.
We had a wonder around the place for awhile, I can't remember exactly everything we went to see because we forgot to get a map, so we just wondered around the place looking at everything. I took a pictures while we were walking around, I don't know how many of them came out well because most of the animals were behind glass and its hard not to get reflections in the shot. Jade also took my camera most of the time so I had to use my compact camera most of the time. It was good enough though.
We must have only been there for around an hour an half then we saw everything that we wanted to see. So we decided it was time for food, so we went to KFC. The amount of times I've been to KFC lately is unbelievable...well the amount I've ate there is, anyway. Everytime I shared a bucket between two. I felt like a right pig! I'm surprised I have gained 8 stones or anything. So today we shared a bucket between 3, so I didn't feel as fat. Although I was still stuffed by the end of it.
Then we got back to Jade's house I was knackered after all that driving plus getting up early, to top it all off I still had to get to work that evening.
Currently I'm at work and time is moving really slowly, I just want to go home and sleep... I'm hoping by writing this whole thing it would occupy my mind then it'll be time to go home.
No such luck...still got awhile to go :(

Lost in coffee rings

So today I was in Starbucks, I've never been the type to go in any type of coffee shops let alone Starbucks. I've always considered it to be a place for two people; the business type, who go in to get their "Caffe-Latte Mocha what-you-call-it" who sit there and read the New York Times or whatever. And the type who feel cool because they like their caffeinated drinks and sit down with a laptop pretending to do work, while in actual fact are probably on Facebook or something.
So it was around 9am and I was still kind of sleepy so I figured "why not", I need a bit of caffeine inside me, it wasn't very busy so I decided to go in.
I decided to go for a tea, since I don't really like drinking coffee too much. It felt very pleasant being there. It was fairly quiet and there was also music playing, it was a very nice environment to be in. It gave me time to think about things in my life at the moment.
Before I knew it, I was through two grande cups of tea. I was probably there for about 1 hour and a half. It started to get a little busy so I decided to leave at that point.
I thoroughly enjoyed it in there, I should bring my laptop next time, maybe do a blog while I'm there? I may have to start going more often...maybe?

I'm Happy!

For once in my life I feel really happy!!
Just thought I would share that with everyone.
