Movie making and some rockin'

Its been awhile since I've done one of these, but not much has happened as per usual. Boring life = boring story. I have being trying to make things happen, but nothing ever turn out as you want them to. I had planned to attend a 3 Doors Down gig in Bristol, but they had to cancel/postpone the event for some unknown reason, which kinda sucks. I would have liked to have seen them, the chances are, when they reschedule the date, I probably won't be able to go, because of work.

Anyway, recently I've been helping my friend, Liam out making his movie. (more info here) I've been helping firstly by printing out DVDs, cases and burning the movie.
I also did a bit of acting! (yeah I know right) That was a fun day.
So my friend Liam got me started on maybe doing some post production bits.
I remember when I was younger I used to want do make movies.

I used to draw simple pictures on MS Paint, on the old 486, back in the day and adjust them slightly to animate them. They were just simple things like a stick man walking along etc.
Its not much, it was kind movie making isn't it? Or would it be animation?
But now I've started using Adobe After Effects which is a little more sophisticated than paint. It's like Photoshop for video, it is a very good. I have already made a small project which I may or may not put on youtube or something, depends how I feel.
So I've been occupying myself with that.

Other than that I got Rock Band, I've been playing on that mostly, I didn't want to blog about before otherwise it would just end up being a review or something.
But its great fun, I was round by friends' house playing it. It's so much more fun playing with everyone else, feels like you're in a real band. If only that were true.

Website and movie deals!

Not much interesting has happened really, although I got a book the other day, its the 'Heroes: Saving Charlie' one, I read through a few pages, its pretty good so far, recently I've been making myself a website, so I've not had much time for reading.
Yes that's right I made a website, its nothing spectacular but it took me a while to make and I'm pretty happy about it, although the gallery page I think is a bit crap so I may change it. No show

So yesterday I didn't go to the Death Cab For Cutie gig as I planned. I feel a little annoyed that I didn't go, because it would have been the first time I'd seen them live. I really didn't feel like driving all that way by myself, I still have the ticket in hand that I paid for, I guess I should just throw it away or something, oh well maybe next time.
Instead I just meet up with an friend who I hadn't seen in awhile, so that was cool.

Decisions... decisions?

So I have a ticket to see Death Cab For Cutie this Tuesday in Camden, but I don't know if I want to go or not.
The problem is, I only have 1 ticket and its all the way in London, which is about a 3hr drive. I like dcfc, but I don't know if I want to drive all that way by myself, I thought about selling my ticket but I think its a little late now, as its Saturday.
I guess it depends on how I feel that day...
